Sales Policies.
Please be aware that sales can and do happen very quickly. A horse that was available yesterday, may not be available today.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our horses, perspective buyers must be approved. Intent for use, name/address of appropriate facility, and general knowledge or association with knowledgeable professional is required.
No holds, no deposits. Horse is for sale until full agreed-upon amount is paid and sales contract is signed. (IMPORTANT: EVEN IF a plane ticket has been bought, a PPE scheduled, etc - whichever approved buyer pays first gets the horse)
Buyer arranges all transport. Contact information of transporters will be provided if possible, but arrangements will always be made by buyer.
Barn hours are 9AM-10PM Mon-Sun. Meetings and transportation must be arranged during normal hours and must be approved by seller (No exceptions).
Pick up/drop off at airport will not be provided.
If horse remains in the care of TruBlu Equestrian for longer than 5 days after sale, daily board and care fee of $30 will be applied.
Though you are welcome to schedule a PPE, PPEs are not required. PPEs are always at buyers expense and arrangements must be approved before scheduling. If seller’s schedule cannot accommodate desired date and time of PPE, it must be moved. Negligent and unprofessional veterinary professionals that put horse at risk or mistreat horse will be asked to leave.
Seller has right to refuse sale. If seller feels as though horse would not thrive with buyer, the sale will not proceed.
Horses will remain publicly listed and actively advertised until final sale.
If horse is to travel with shipping protection, buyer is to have items delivered to seller prior to shipping date.
No pets allowed at meetings.
Horse will not be transported off property until funds are received and confirmed in account by seller’s financial institution. Preferred methods of payment are: Venmo, Cashier’s/Certified Check, PayPal, or cash. Bank wire and check are also allowed, but these methods take time, and the sale will not be considered final until the funds are finalized by seller’s financial institution.
Because of the value of each horse, when horse is ridden at meetings by buyer and/or buyer’s representative, the use of spurs longer than 1/2in, harsh riding techniques, bungie cords, tie downs, flashes, and other instruments are strictly forbidden. This is to protect the horse’s body and mind and the high standards that the horses are mindfully trained under. Small spurs, dressage whips and jumping bats used and tactfully are allowed.
Helmets are required by each rider at meetings. Please feel free to use any safety equipment you desire, such as vests, pommel straps, etc.
Buyer pays for health certificate for crossing state or national borders (no exceptions).
Each horse that graduates from the TruBlu program is highly valued and cherished. Please, if you can, keep in touch and let us know how your new partner is doing! We have confidence in every sale, and love seeing happy partnerships - it’s why we do what we do!
