“Suzie” Suzie Q

2012 14hh Black and White Pinto Sportpony Mare

Suzie is versatile, brave, willing, flashy, and sweet.

Currently in a classical dressage and jumping program, she has miles of experience and she’s proven to be a reliable and talented partner for a variety of riders. This fun mare has a bright personality and a heart of gold. She is suited for lower-level dressage, children’s hunter/jumper, western dressage, and lower-level eventing, making her a great candidate for petite riders looking to progress in multiple disciplines.

She has competed in Open and 4H shows and is accustomed to the competition environment. She handles travel and new environments well, making her suitable for shows, clinics, or events.

She has also been a lesson pony, served as a therapy horse for a disabled child, and she’s even sorted cattle!

Currently, she is also trying her hand at liberty and in-hand work. She seems to enjoy it immensely.

Suzie has a big, swinging walk, a flashy trot, and a gorgeous canter. Her gaits are rhythmical and uphill. Even on the lunge line and at liberty, she wants to stretch over her topline.

She is currently schooling stretchy trot, lateral basics, change of lead through trot and simple changes, and jumping small courses.

She requires no maintenance. She is barefoot with excellent feet.
