"Showdown" Showdown Justice (Harry’s Holiday X Flower Alley)

2020 16.1 Bay Thoroughbred Gelding

Showdown is an instant barn favorite! He greets you at the gate/stall with a sweet expression wand big, gentle eyes - ready for any activity you want to do. Want to go trail riding or hack around the farm with your friends? How about throwing him in the trailer for a day off-property camping or fox hunting? A fence, log, rock or anything will do as a mounting block when you get there! He gets along with other horses fabulously, too.

Want to hop around a little course and practice your jumping? Showdown is point-and-shoot, and never rushes before or after fences! A little dressage schooling more your speed today? He has very manageable, cute gaits and he loves to practice his “stretchy circles.” Cross country schooling? He looks very cute over natural elements and isn’t a puller! Western more your style? He fits very well into western tack!

This wide, thick guy is disguised as a QH. He has a big, wide head and eyes, a thick neck, a round butt, sturdy legs, a wide ribcage, a wide, comfortable back and solid feet. His topline really has to be seen to be believed, especially for his age. His walk is the type you could ride for miles at a time, his trot is very quaint and ridable, and his canter is rocking and comfortable. Go ahead and put plenty of leg on him! He is comfortable with a lot of leg and hand, and has a well-developed, cheeky sense of humor. He is a great listener, a great kisser, and has a glint of silliness in his eyes. He is wise well beyond his years!

In our program, we absolutely love the Storm Cat line, and this guy is no exception to the great animals produced by this line. With the added benefit of the Mr. Prospector influence, it’s no wonder Showdown is as classy and level-headed as he is. He was a favorite on the track for his good nature.

Showdown is a “lesson pony” type, and would mesh well with any rider looking for a reliable companion for low-level area riding or a fantastic trail partner, or a program looking to add a fresh face to their lineup.

Showdown would be suitable for:
